About Our Doctors
Christopher J. Copeland, DODr. Christopher J. Copeland is an Orthopedic Surgeon practicing at Community Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital. He has subspecialty training in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle, and Sports Medicine. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Anatomy/Neurobiology from Colorado State University. In 2000, he received his Medical Degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded membership into the National Osteopathic Scholastic Society. Dr. Copeland completed his Internship and Orthopedic Residency at the South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed a one year Fellowship in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery and Sports Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Copeland is a local graduate of Fruita Monument High School and his wife Tekla are natives of Colorado. They have two children and enjoy various activities including hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and skiing. |
