About Our Doctors
Richard A. Knackendoffel, DODr. Knackendoffel obtained his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his D.O. medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri, in 1982. He completed his internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has served on the editorial board and is an officer of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. Dr. Knackendoffel has served as surgery department chairman, chief of staff, and is a member of the board of trustees of Community Hospital. Dr. Knackendoffel and his wife Becky have three children. They have lived in Grand Junction since 1987 and enjoy the healthy outdoor lifestyle of Western Colorado. They particularly enjoy fishing and skiing. Dr. Knackendoffel has special interests in joint replacement, hand and wrist surgery, trauma and arthroscopic surgery. |
