About Our Doctors
Michael T. Reeder, DODr. Reeder is a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician. After graduation from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. After Residency, he practiced in Massillon, Ohio where he was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Ohio University as well as the Clinical Coordinator of the Emergency Medicine residency. Dr. Reeder then completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. He has had the opportunity and privilege to care for athletes from recreational and high school teams, several colleges, the Arena Football League, and the Olympic Field Hockey Program. He is a Team Physician at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO. Dr. Reeder has been an adjunct professor at Mesa State and co-authored several sports medicine journal articles with the teaching faculty at Mesa State. His medical interests include Non-Surgical Musculoskeletal Medicine, Exercise Science, Sports Nutrition, Wellness, Cycling, and Biomechanics. Dr. Reeder and his wife Terri have four children and one grandchild. They enjoy the Colorado outdoors, especially cycling, cross-country skiing, and spending time with their family. |
