Hip Print E-mail

The hip joint is comprised of a complex arrangement of muscles and tendons as well as the joint which is the femur and acetabulum (aspect of the pelvis). Conditions of the hip range from basic to very detailed. Common disorders that cause pain and dysfunction with the hip include arthritis, fractures, overuse injuries, congenital ailments and pelvic dysfunction.

We treat adolescents, recreational and collegiate athletes, active adults as well as seniors. Treatments offered by the team at Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine include conservative non-surgical management, injections and surgical correction. The physicians work with each patient to devise a treatment plan that best suites their specific needs- with the goal that the patient returns to normal, everyday activities with good function and without pain.
