Dr. Kennan J. Vance is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Utah. While attending BYU, he competed on the Cougar's nationally ranked volleyball team. He received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and his orthopedic training at Michigan State at Garden City Hospital.
He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who also completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Taos Orthopedic Institute in Taos, New Mexico, where he learned the latest techniques in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee.
Dr. Vance joined Western Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 2008 and is one of the team physicians for Colorado Mesa University. He specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee.
He enjoys time with his wife and children exploring the outdoors and especially likes skiing, hiking, biking, and camping.
