Your shoulder is a dynamic and complex joint that is made up of two parts: the shoulder joint and shoulder girdle. A unique feature of the shoulder is the wide range of motion which can be performed. This is achieved with the design of the muscles, tendons and ligaments. Common disorders that cause pain and dysfunction with the shoulder include overuse injuries, muscle imbalance, sprains, dislocation, fractures, and arthritis.

We treat adolescents, recreational and collegiate athletes, active adults as well as seniors. Treatments offered by our team of physicians at Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine include non- surgical, injections and surgical correction. Our team will work with each patient to devise a treatment plan that best suites their specific needs- with the goal that the patient returns to normal, everyday activities with good function and without pain.
