Sports medicine is a sub-specialty within orthopedics that centers on the comprehensive care of athletes. From prevention training to diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, sports medicine specialists embrace a team approach to providing individualized care for their most active patients. Whether treating a weekend warrior, high school or collegiate athlete, the goal of the sports medicine team is to ensure that each patient experiences the best course of care and rehabilitation to ensure full recovery and a healthy return to their sport or activity.
